Shift Reference *Read Description*

Background Story
Shift was born on a farm, part of a big litter, but his mother died when he and his siblings were pretty young. She had been severely injured by farm equipment and died to leave her children orphaned. Thankfully, they were old enough to learn how to hunt. The group of kits would not have lasted long if mice weren't infesting the place. The kits survived and grew, sticking to their system of "always look out for your siblings."

But Shift wasn't happy. Life was easy, and the twolegs that owned the barn had moved away. Still...Shift didn't fit in well with his bothers and sisters. They were much stronger than he was, since he was the runt. They would always mock him and make him feel alienated. It was like the disowned him.

So, he left them. They called him a traitor, and that no cat should trust him, but he kept going.
"Who needs them....."


He eventually found his way through the forest to a city. He spent the majority of his life on the outskirts of the city, eating everything from kittypet food, to wildlife from the forest. But he was careful not to attract too much attention from animals of the forest or the two legs of the city nests.

Personality
He's not very strong but very quick and a talented hunter. Years of sneaking around alleys of the city and bushes of the forest have turned him into a grey ghost.
He's afraid of bigger cats, but will gladly try to befriend them and gain their trust.
Basically....he's really timid

He hasn't much experience in fighting, but he can defend himself quite easily. He makes good use of his quick paw strikes and agility.

Appearance
He's a slim, young cat. He has short, grey fur with a darker grey stripe pattern.
